The results of the “Publication Procurement Competition” announced in April 2022 in order to enrich and complete the book collections of the libraries under the Ministry of Culture with new publications have been determined.

Note that, in order to ensure transparency, efficiency and objectivity in the organization of the competition, it will be implemented by the Commission for the Development of the Publication Plan and the Procurement of Publishing Products established by the Ministry.

The books submitted to the competition by the authors and copyright holders were evaluated by the Commission, and at the same time, statistical data prepared based on the readers' questionnaire provided by the libraries were also taken into account during the evaluation of the publications.

In the competition, the book "Introduction to Turkology" by Elsa Samadova, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University, published in 2021 by "Kohlen" publishing house by the decision of the Scientific Council of the university, was among the purchased books.
