On May 18, 2022, 2nd year students majoring in History Teaching at Khazar University's Faculty of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences hosted an excursion to Surakhani ship-museum on the occasion of International Museum Day under the organization and guidance of Orkhan Zamanov, the lecturer at the Department of History and Archeology.

The visit was attended by university faculty members - Doctors of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Roza Arazova and Yagub Mammadov.

Accompanied by a guide, the students got acquainted with various interesting exhibits, ship models, personnel rooms, objects and various information in the ship-museum consisting of 10 halls. The museum tour was followed by a discussion between the guide and the students. Students were shown a video describing the great path of development of Azerbaijan.

During the excursion, various games prepared by the museum were held among the students. The winners were awarded a special trophy, and the students also met with the captain of the ship.
