Giorgi Sharvashidze, Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, spoke about close cooperation with Khazar University at the meeting with Azerbaijani Education Minister Emin Amrullayev, who is on a visit to Georgia

At the meeting held on February 21, 2022, the rector gave detailed information about the activities of the university and international cooperation. He noted that Tbilisi State University named after I.Javakhishvili closely cooperates with Khazar University and other higher education institutions of Azerbaijan.

Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev said that Azerbaijan is interested in further developing relations with neighboring and friendly Georgia in all areas, including science and education. As one of the main purposes of the visit, they exchanged views on this issue.

The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.

During the conversation, the importance of student exchange, joint cooperation in the field of education, joint scientific research between the higher education institutions of the two countries was stressed.
