On January 6, 2022, the website Tehsil.biz published news on the visit of a group of Khazar University employees to Turkish universities.

The news says that during their visits to Turkey, Khazar University staff members held meetings at Bogazici University, Sabanci University, Beykoz University, Uskudar University, Kent University, TED University, and Atilim University.

At the meetings, the issues of exchange of students and staff, preparation and execution of double degree programs, the organization of joint seminars, intensive courses, summer schools, the establishment of research centres and conducting research, the appointment of scientific advisers for doctoral students et c. were discussed and agreement was reached.
