It was great to hear from Nilufar Alizada, who is about to embark on her Fulbright Faculty Development Program (FFDP) fellowship at the University of Arkansas. Nilufar, who is a clinical psychotherapist and serves on Khazar University’s Psychology Faculty, intends to use her time in America to develop an online clinical psychology course program, significantly contributing to the development of psychology curricula at Azerbaijan’s universities.
Addressing applicants to the program, she offers a few tips for a successful application: “At the beginning, the process will seem overwhelming, but don’t be afraid to expand your borders and step out of your comfort zone! If it is crystal clear to you why you want to be in the FFDP program, you will find that you really enjoy each part of the application journey!”
