On October 18, 2021, AZƏRTAC reported that Khazar University was represented at the international conference entitled “Thirty Years of Independence of the Turkish Republics” held at Istanbul Aydin University.

The news says that speaking at the conference, Assoc. Prof. Telman Guliyev, Head of the Department of History and Archeology at Khazar University, shared his views on the post-independence events in the Turkic world, the integration of the Turkic states, and the challenges they face.
