Ayten Rustamova has been appointed Regional Head of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, (EBRD) Trend News Agency reports on June 28, 2021, according to the official website of the EBRD.
Ayten Rustamova, an Azerbaijani citizen, joined the EBRD in 2001. He held various positions in the bank's Baku office. In 2017, he was appointed EBRD Regional Director for Tajikistan.
A. Rustamova took her master's degree in foreign languages from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and an MBA (master's degree in economics and management) from Khazar University and Georgia State University. It should be noted that Rustamova will replace Neil McCain, who returned to the EBRD central office in London.
