On June 22, 2021, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of Khazar University, met with the editorial staff of the university's journal, “Azerbaijan Archeology”. The meeting was attended by Gudrat Ismayilzade, editor-in-chief of the magazine, Tarikh Dostiyev, assistant editor, Emil Iskandarov, the person in charge of the special "Karabakh issue" and Orkhan Zamanov, coordinator of the Department of History and Archeology.

The activities, successes and problems of the magazine as well as the ways to eliminate the shortcomings were discussed in detail at the meeting. Works to be done for the international recognition of the magazine, innovations and goals were planned.
