On March 15, 2021, the next virtual research seminar was organized by the Khazar University Teaching and Learning Center. This time the guest of the seminar was Prof. Dr. Salih Şahin, a staff member of the Faculty of Education, Gazi University (Turkey), and the speaker made a very interesting presentation on “Students’ Participation in Online Education”.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Salih Şahin highlighted the importance of active participation of students in both face-to-face and online education, and stressed the importance of the use of new methods and techniques by teachers to ensure this. According to Prof. Dr. Salih Şahin teachers should make more efforts in planning the teaching process due to the fact that students are not active enough in online education.

The seminar was held in an interactive atmosphere and aroused great interest among the participants. At the end, Prof. Dr. Salih Şahin answered the questions of the participants.
