Head of Department of Life Sciences Asaf Omarov as a trainer in UN’s Project

Head of the Department of Life Sciences Asaf Omarov has been taking part as a trainer in the project entitled “Improvement of cattle production through the establishment of effective cattle breeding and feeding systems in Azerbaijan” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in February and March 2021.

The aim of the training is to improve the productivity of cattle-breeding by developing an appropriate strategy for breeding and strengthening services for artificial insemination and feeding systems. The practical part of the trainings, the theoretical part of which was conducted online, is currently underway. The trainings will last until the end of April.

It should be noted that Asaf Omarov was elected a local consultant of the UN FAO in this project.
