On March 2, 2021, the opening ceremony was held for the next course of the "Education in Business for Engineers" project, jointly organized by Baku Higher Oil School (BANM) and BP.
The opening ceremony was attended by Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov, deans and heads of departments of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ), Baku Engineering University, University of Architecture and Construction, and Khazar University.
A total of 300 people applied to participate in the project, which aims to develop leadership and management skills and expand career opportunities for students majoring in engineering.
Only 3rd, 4th and 5th year engineering students with high English language skills were selected. 80 participants, including 4th and 5th year students of Baku Higher Oil School and 3rd and 4th year students of other higher education institutions, were admitted to the course.
Participants represent Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ), Baku Engineering University, University of Architecture and Construction, Khazar University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
On March 1 online teaching was kicked off on the course covering 6 modules (“Presentation and Communication Skills”, “Project Management”, “Time Management and Efficiency”, “Risk Management”, “Introduction to Financial, Budget and Expenditure Control”, “Fundamentals of Human Resource Management and Leadership”). The course will last 2 weeks and will be conducted entirely in English. At the end of the program, those who successfully complete the course will be provided with certificates.
The program will be conducted by internationally experienced specialists of Baku Higher Oil School.
