Kamran Majidov, Khazar University graduate from Economics and Management School was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of “Xalq” Bank OJSC. He graduated with honors from Khazar University in 2002 with a degree in Finance and Banking. In 2005-2007, he studied at the Norwegian Business School (BI) under a contract between Khazar University and Norwegian Business School and was conferred master's degree in Financial Economics. In 2007-2010, he delivered lectures on financial management at Khazar University's School of Economics and Management. In 2014-2015, he completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard University in the United States as part of the Executive Education program and earned the status of a graduate of that university.

K.Majidov started his career in the banking sector in 2002 and held various positions in the country's leading banks. Since 2008, he has held various positions at Xalq Bank, including the First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board.

Mr. Majidov is married and has two children.
