On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day - February 21, an event entitled "The finest of voices - Azerbaijani Turkish" with the participation of the 7^th-grade students was held at "Dunya" School, led by Gunay Mirzaliyeva, an Azerbaijani language and literature teacher.

Students participating in the event provided examples from native language poetry, making reference to historical sources. The difficult and honorable way wherein the Azerbaijani language passed on from "Dede Gorghud" to the Azerbaijani Hymn, has been expressed in the self thoughts of the students, reiterating their love for the language and its protection from alien elements.
