From March 3 to 10, 2020, Asaf Omarov, Head of the Department of Life Sciences at Khazar University, took part in the trainings of the “Promoting Livestock Breeding through Creating Effective Feeding Systems in Breeders in Azerbaijan” project implemented within the UN FAO-Azerbaijan Partnership Program. The training was led by Jorc Streys, the Dutch scientist and artificial insemination specialist. The training was followed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Inam Karimov, Deputy Minister Ilham Guliyev, Rector of the ASAU Ibrahim Jafarov, and the head of the FAO Partnership and Coordination Office in Azerbaijan, Melek Chakmak and other officials. At the end of the training the participants were awarded with certificates.
