On February 27, 2020, an event entitled “Irfani Currents in Contemporary Literature” was held at Khazar University Neftchiler campus, being organized by the Mevlana Center for Literary and Philosophical Research. In the event, moderated by Dr. Nazakat Mammadli, and presented by poet, writer and playwright Ilgar Fahmi, the “irfani” philosophical concept in the classical literature in the poet’s creativity was touched upon. Ilgar Fahmi recited the examples of poems he wrote in both classic and modern styles.

The literary assembly was attended by scholars, poets and musicians. An interesting discussion was held with the participants of the event.
