“Dunya” IB held an event entitled “From the past to the present” dedicated to the International Mother Language Day with the participation of IB students in the Injichichəyi Hall. As the name suggests, artistic compositions were staged in the background of our past and present. At this time, it was as if a chronological view of a great historical period was created.

Through the artistic images of real historical figures and men of letters such as Nizami Ganjavi, Mohammad Fuzuli, Shah Ismail Khatai, Koroglu, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Huseyn Javid, Mikail Mushfig, Ahmed Javad, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Muslim Magomayev, the issues of the native language and the national themes that are still relevant today were touched upon.

The event was not held in traditional format. Presenters Mirza Jalil and his wife Hamida khanym presented the activities of historical figures, known in Azerbaijan's from the past to the present, in the style of Molla Nasreddin.
