On January 17, 2020, External and Local Expert Assessment group of the Twinning Project Education Program, implemented within the project “Support to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Further Adherence of the Higher Education System to the European Higher Education Area” (AZ-ad-EHEA) visited Khazar University to conduct the pilot assessments of the English Language Teaching Program. Experts met with University leadership, members of self-analysis team, teachers of the English Language and Literature Department, students of the mentioned specialty, alumni and the leaders of employers' organizations.

Despite the fact that Khazar University joined the project in March 2019, the submitted report was highly appreciated among the 23 previously submitted reports.

The report was elaborated by the Working Group, established by Dr. Bahman Amani, the Head of the English Language and Literature Department, the coordinator of the Working Group is Milana Abbasova, and members of the Group are - Kamala Askerova, Naila Gasimova, Valida Karimova, Ilham Taghiyev and Jamila Farman.
