On November 23, the opening of the “Azerbaijan” Pavilion at the Moscow Exhibition of the National Economy Achievements, took place after the major overhaul and repair.

On the eve of the opening of the pavilion, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented the book entitled “VDNKh. “Azerbaijan” pavilion. 1939-2019” (in Russian language: “ВДНХ. Павильон «Азербайджан». 1939-2019”. Баку, 2019, 199 стр.) The project preparation and publication Project Manager is Anar Alekperov, coordinator Ulviya Gasimova and consultant Rashad Karimov.

The author of the text of the book is Associate Professor Sabuhi Ahmadov, Teacher of History and Archeology Department, Doctor of Philosophy in History. The book, written with the reference to the resources, obtained from the Azerbaijani and Russian archives, as well as the existing scientific literature, covers the entire history of the “Azerbaijan” Pavilion in VDNKh since 1939. The work also includes the photographs, which reflect the stages of the complex's restoration work undertaken by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as photographs reflecting the modern look of the pavilion.

The book was presented to all guests who attended the opening ceremony of the “Azerbaijan” Pavilion on November 23 after major overhaul and repair.
