On November 8, 2019, with the organizational support of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and “SME” team, Professor Ghader Rezazadeh, Dean of faculty of Engineering of Urmia University conducted a seminar on “Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems”. The seminar was attended by the students, as well as the faculty members of Khazar University. Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering delivered an opening speech and greeted the participants and guests. After a comprehensive introduction of MEMS, Professor Rezazadeh described the nonlinear behavior of Electrostatically-Actuated MEMS. At the end, the Society of Mechanical Engineering (SME) was officially opened. The head of SME team Farida Garajayeva and her assistant Aghamoglan Beydullayev gave detailed information about the importance and main objectives of the SME and answered the questions of the participants. SME team consists of 5 students and Advisor Dr. Mehdi Kiasatfar.
