“BP Azerbaijan” has launched a new mentoring program to support career development for university students and alumni who are currently pursuing bachelor's degree at the technical faculties (4th year) of the country.
On 30th of October, during the event of the mentoring program announcement, Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Education Minister emphasized that there is a great interest in mentoring in the modern world, and this project of BP is noteworthy: “The main purpose of the project is to help students, studying at the technical faculties and selected in regard with their high potential, to develop their social skills and build confidence in themselves, by facilitating individual mentoring sessions”.
At the end of his speech, the Deputy Minister congratulated 118 students selected for the project and wished them success. Students from Khazar University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku Engineering University, Baku Higher Oil School and Azerbaijan-French University will participate in the program.
