On October 15, 2019, “Knowledge Contest” was organized among the students by the Student Assembly at Khazar University’s Marble Hall.
The event was led by Emil Aghayev, Vice President of Student Assembly, 4th-year student of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences and student Leyla Efendiyeva, and attended by the University administration, students and members of the media. Student volunteers assisted in organizing and conducting the competition.
Twenty teams of four people each participated in the competition. The jury consisted of the students of the university - Amir Mehraliyev, Aghamehdi Dadashov, Afelya Goja, Aysel Goyyusubova and Fatima Babakhanova.
After the participating teams became familiar with the terms of the competition, as a result of the first round, three teams - “Mirwari”, “Stonks”, and “Joker” won the right to compete in the finals. In the tense final, by the decision of the jury, the first place was awarded to the “Mirvari”, the second place to the “Stonks” and the third to the “Joker” accordingly.
The winning team members - the 3rd-year students of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences - Nijat Hamzali, Lala Baghirova, Mahammed Rahimli (majoring in regional studies) and Aydan Jamalzade (majoring in design) were awarded with certificates. The team was awarded a cash prize of three hundred manats.
