The group of alumni of 1992 class, educated in Turkey established the “Vurgun Ayyub Scholarship Program” in memory of Associate Professor Vurgun Ayyub, the former Head of the Department of Languages and Literature at the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Khazar University. The purpose of the scholarship program is to make the name of Vurgun Ayyub live, who was the first Chairman of the State Student Admission Commission, to lead the process of admission to universities through the testing method, introduced for the first time in Azerbaijan and to contribute to the development of Azerbaijani education, and at the same time to render support for bachelor and master students to continue their education successfully.
