On October 17, 2019, Melek Karimova, Coordinator of the Department of Psychology of Khazar University and Director of the Center for Psychological Service, made a presentation on “Fans Culture” on the Public Television Channel's “Sahara Sahlamayaq” TV program. Among the reasons for being a fan, she indicated the factors such as belonging to some group and moving together are important, and the inappropriate behavior of the fans on the stage is unacceptable, and some “fan” groups enjoy the goal of creating more confrontations than the performance itself. The psychologist especially urged that this type of fans should be treated with caution, and encouraged the youngsters not to fall victim to such “pathological fans”.
