The book co-authored by Dr. Ziyad Amrahov, Professor of History and Archeology at Khazar University (together with Samir Ismailov), entitled “History of Baku State University”, has been published at the “Elm & Tehsil” Publishing House.

The scientific editor of the book is Maryam Seyidbayli, Doctor of Historical Sciences. The research work on the centenary of the Baku State University reflects the activities of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic on the establishment of the first European type higher education institution in Azerbaijan, the position of the Parliamentary factions on the opening of the university, and constructive work according to the university decrees of the Commissariat of Public Enlightenment of the Azerbaijan SSR.
