On September 5, 2019, the mektebgushesi.az news portal published a wide-ranging report under the same title, highlighting that applicants preferred Khazar University among private universities, with reference to the State Examination Center’s Scientific and Statistical Report on Admission to Universities. In the news it is also noted that the average scores of the applicants admitted to Khazar University are higher than in some other public and private universities.
