On July 17, 2019 - the Remembrance Day of Sara Ashurbeyli, Honorary Doctor of Khazar University, prominent historian scholar, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conferee of the orders of “Shohret” and “Sheref”, the websites femida.az and onn.az published articles entitled “Azerbaijani Women's Example of 21^st century” (author Amin Nazarli) and “17^th of July – the day of Sara Ashurbeyli's funeral”. The articles emphatically indicate that for her outstanding achievements in the field of history, the title of Khazar University’s Honorary Doctor was conferred to her.
