On July 3, 2019, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, hosted Dr. Rufat Sattarov, graduate of the Free University of Berlin, Senior lecturer at the European Career Enhancement Center, Asif Masimov, PhD student at the Berlin University named after Humboldt, and Zarifa Aliyeva, Head of the Educational Department of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, PhD student at Khazar University. During the meeting, guests discussed current situation and perspectives in the education system of Germany and touched upon issues related to culture, literature, philosophy and other areas. At the same time, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli gave detailed information about the innovations and envisaged projects of Khazar University. The Parties agreed on further cooperation, exchange of faculty members and students, joint seminars and conferences organization. Further on, guests got closely acquainted with the University and visited its centers and departments.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Rufat Sattarov was the Head of Middle East and Islamic Studies Department of Khazar University in 2000-2001.
