Article by Employee of Geography and Environment Department Published

On June 26, 2019, “Environmental Monitoring and Assessment” Journal has published article by Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Department of Geography and Environment at Khazar University, entitled “Remediation of Soil Contaminated with Persistent Organic Pollutants in Sumgait, Azerbaijan”. This article analyzes the impact of bioremediation actions at soil cleaning and its level of pollution on contaminated lands with persistent organic pollutants, and shows that soil remediation works significantly reduce pollution.

It should be noted that this Journal has a very high impact factor.
