On May 31, 2019, Mr. Shahriyar Alkhasi, a Ph.D. student majoring in Petroleum Engineering at Khazar University, delivered a technical presentation at the recent Oil & Gas Conference held in Baku. The conference was hosted by SOCAR, and many international companies such as BP, Total, Gazprom, Petranos, Baker Hughes, Inpex, and many others were participating in this conference.

Mr. Alkhasi presented samples of their recent research work at Khazar University’s eiLink (education industry Link) center that he and his colleagues have successfully resolved some technical problems and concerns faced by BP’s subsurface operation. Also, in this conference, our eiLink’s technical research contribution to the Oil & Gas industries in Azerbaijan was acknowledged by the Vice-President of SOCAR, Mr. Yashar Latifov.
