On May 27, 2019, Elshan Mustafayev, Department Head and Psychiatrist of the Republican Psychiatric Hospital No.1, held a seminar on “Depression” organized by Nilufar Alizade, instructor of Psychology Department at Khazar University.

The seminar focused on the most common aspects, providing the information about depression symptoms, diagnostics, role of psychotherapy in treatment, psychological and psychiatric approach to illness and statistics in Azerbaijan. Along with the students of Khazar University, majoring in Psychology, the seminar was attended by the students from other specialties, university staff and psychologists involved in psychological activities.
