On May 30, 2019, moderator.az, mustaqil.az news portals and online newspaper “Bizim yol” published an article entitled “The Azerbaijani Singer of Canada” by Eldar Elmanoglu (US, Michigan), which is dedicated to Yusif Savalan, singer and Khazar University’s former foreign language (English-French) teacher.

It is worth mentioning that Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and Nailakhanim Isayeva, Advisor to the Board, and Nuriya Huseynova, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, also participated in one of the Canadian poems and music nights, organized by Yusif Savalan in the city of Toronto. At the time, singer Yusif performed Hamlet Isakhanli's composition “Səni sevdim çox sadəcə” (I just loved you so much), set to music by Nailakhanim Isayeva. This song was also sounded at later concerts by Yusif Savalan.
