On May 24, 2019, Writer Sharif Aghayar, laureate of the “Literary Man” awarded by Azerbaijan Creative Foundation and “Golden Word” award by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, was a guest of the “Creative Writing” Lesson at Khazar University. After Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, instructor of the Department of Languages and Literature, made an opening statement, student Sakina Alekberli, made a presentation on creativity of literary scholar. Following that the participants of the open lesson listened to a lecture by Sharif Aghayar on “Basic rules of the prose and selection of the narrative style in the prose”. Sharif Aghayar spoke about his creative lab on the basis of the novel entitled “The city after the dreams”. For the concluding remarks he invoked “to create new literature by creative writers”. He also had an interactive discussion with the students - Farida Hasanli, Sadig Mirzayev, Sugra Aliyeva, Narmin Alekberova, Aytac Hasanova, as well as listened to their views and answered their questions.
