Research Paper by Faculty Member of the School of Economics and Management Published

A research paper co-authored by Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management, was published in Environmental Science and Pollution Research journal indexed by Web of Science (impact factor 2.8). The paper is entitled “Re-evaluating the environmental impacts of tourism: does EKC exist?”.

The study investigates the long-run impact of tourism development on ecological footprint in the case of Azerbaijan and discusses policy implications for the resource-rich economies.
