On 13-14 May 2019, a Conference called “Modern Problems of Mathematics” dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of Prof. Sadovnichiy Victor Antonovich, the Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, was held at Lomonosov MSU.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, attended the Conference and he congratulated Prof. V. A. Sadovnichiy on behalf of the mathematicians of Khazar University and Azerbaijan. For this occasion, Prof. Isakhanli presented to Prof. Sadovnichiy a Shirvan carpet which was especially woven by Azerbaijani carpet masters, as well as his book entitled “In Search of Khazar” (Xəzərin Sorağında/В поисках Xазарa) and the book published in 2018 at Khazar University Press under the same title with the conference “Operators, Functions, and Systems of Mathematical Physics Conference” (International Conference dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of Hamlet Isayev/Isakhanli).
