On April 12, 2019, Khazar University staff members - Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of Khazar University; Ms. Raziya Isayeva, Director of Development Center; Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Dr. Elmar Mustafayev, Head of the Political Science and Philosophy Department - participated in an info day on Erasmus+ Nizami Project organized by the Ministry of Education (MoE) of Azerbaijan Republic. The info session was also attended by Azerbaijani higher-education institutions (HEI), Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS), Montpellier University, French Embassy in Baku, and National Erasmus+ Office.

The objective of the info session was to share the results of Erasmus+ Nizami Project with all Azerbaijani HEIs. The info session consisted of speeches of keynote speakers - Mr. Yagub Priyev (MoE), Academician Rasim Aliguliyev (ANAS), Mr. Johan Schitterer, Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy, Mr. Parviz Bagirov, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office, Ms. Veronique Montero, Co-Ordinator of Nizami Project – and presentations of partner universities.

The presentation of Khazar University was delivered by Dr. Elmar Mustafayev. In his presentation, Elmar Mustafayev acquainted the participants with established Doctoral School model of Khazar University within the Nizami Project.
