On April 12, 2019, Mati Osmanoglu, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Azerbaijan Literature, Baku State University was a guest of the creative writing lesson at Khazar University. Upon the invitation of Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, instructor of the Department of Languages and Literature, the event was attended by a group of students - Naila Agayeva, Qismet Jafarov, Jamil Jamilbeyli, Shahla Abbaszade, Seymur Huseynzade, Elnara Talibova, Rufat Gachayev, representing “Soz” Creative Union led by M. Osmanoglu.
Khazar University student Saida Cabarova after making a brief presentation on the guest’s life and creativity, delivered a report on “Art text, Authorship, Narrative and Reader Relations” and answered questions.
The young poet Elnara Talibova recited poems and sang with her guitar, accompanied by Rufat Gachayev, songs like “Uzaq yaşıl ada” (Far away green Island), “Göy göl” (Blue Lake), and “Sən gəlməz oldun” (You won’t come). Students from Khazar University Pinar Mammadzade, Aytaj Hasanova also performed poems.
At the end, M.Osmanoglu presented his books to Khazar University students.
