On April 11, 2019, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Dean of the School of Natural Sciences and Engineering at Khazar University, faculty members and senior course students met with SOCAR Fugro. Expert from SOCAR, making presentation, provided information about offshore and onshore platforms constructions, conducting geodesics works, new technological equipment for the installation of metal constructions. He also informed students on a summer internship program and the operation of the recruitment processes. Moreover, summer internship for the students was agreed. It was communicated that the excellent students are provided with the opportunity to participate in the Summer Internship Program, and when they successfully complete the program are highly likely to be offered a job.

After the meeting with the students, the guests visited the Civil Engineering Department's laboratory. They highlighted their wish to cooperate with the Civil Engineering Laboratory staff, indicating that in their future projects, they intend to move forward with the local experts, declining the need to involve experts from the abroad.
