On April 6, 2019, with the support of Khazar University’s partner “City Art Azerbaijan” volunteers project and also with the assistance rendered by another project's associate - the Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve, the visit to Gobustan of the participants of the students’ project of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences and young archeologists from abroad, was organized. The visit was aimed at strengthening partnership relations, encouraging the extensive acquaintance within the framework of the project and coordinating future business activities. On behalf of the project, sculptor Mamed Rashidov and Azad Aslanov took part at the event. Teachers of Khazar University Ziya Samadli and Orkhan Zamanov also joined the event.
Leading members of the project Saida Musayeva (Gobustan Reserve), Ilaha Yusifli, Laman Kazimli and Ilkin Hasanzadeh (all from Khazar University) actively participated in the organization of the event.
During the excursion, the museum guide gave information about Mesolithic, Neolithic and several other historical periods. The guide provided information on exhibit items, preserved in Gobustan, particularly, on ancient monuments, paintings, household items, petroglyphs, rational and irrational reasons, and also historical evidence of their survival and protection from the early community.
Furthermore, the museum guide answered numerous questions asked by the participants after the lecture, accompanied by electronic illustrations.
