On April 1 and 2, 2019, representatives of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) in Portugal were at Khazar University on a training mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme.

The goal of the visit was to analyze existing cooperation, discuss future projects, share best practices and experience. Representatives of the IPB included Dr. Hélder Teixeira Gomes, Professor at Chemical and Biological Technology Department and Ms. Joana Aguiar, International Relations Officer.

Program of the visit included meeting with the Rector and Vice-Rectors, campus tour, discussions of collaboration with relevant departments and professors as well as a visit to the International Affairs office.

Khazar University has been collaborating with IPB since 2017 when a Memorandum of Understanding and an Agreement on Double Degree programs were signed between the two universities.
