In 2019, the Moscow publishing house “Sovremennaya Muzyka” (Contemporary Music) published two books by Murad Kajlayev, Honored Artist of the USSR, composer, conductor, pianist and pedagogue, one of the founders of Dagestan's professional music. The basis of both books comprises the musical compositions (romances, songs, tango, waltz) set 6 poems by Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors, to music. The composer Murad Kajlayev wrote the introductory note and presented short essays on the life and creativity of Murad Kajlayev and Hamlet Isakhanli. The composer Murad Kajlayev shared his impressions on holding a creative evening within the framework of Uzeyir Hajibeyov International Music Festival, organized upon the initiative and invitation of Professor Isakhanli in September 2018, highlighting how musical and other events were always held at a very high level at Khazar University. He also shared his feelings about the years of his youth and his parent's revisiting Baku. When he was in Baku, having received Russian version of the book entitled “Contrasts” (“Контрасты”) from Professor Isakhanli, composer M. Kajlayev chose Hamlet Isakhanli’s six love poems, that influenced him to compose his musical compositions in his new book.
These books include Professor Isakhanli's poems such as: “I Just Love You So Much …” (“Səni sevdim çox sadəcə...”), “Lily” (“İnciçiçəyi”), “The Clouds of Childhood” (“Uşaqlıqda qalan buludlar”),
“I Said the Words...” (“Deyirdim ki...”), “Two Rivers” (“Qoşa çaylar”), and “You Are Sweater than Life" (“Sən həyatdan dadlısanmış”).
