On April 6, 2019, Baku Higher Oil School hosted and co-organized the “BHOS Math Cup” Inter-university Math Competition with the support of the “Roof Academic Training” Center.

Along with Khazar University, other leading universities of Azerbaijan - ADA, ADNSU, BMU and UFAZ were also represented at this competition. The teams participating in the competition were selected winners of the domestic tournaments held at their high schools, and this competition was held as the final stage of the Inter-university Math Competition.

As for the concept of the “BHOS Math Cup”, the contest consisted of two stages - general and final. The general stage itself comprised 3 rounds, wherein the teams competed with each other to answer 10 questions in high math, geometry and logic, and those four teams that have gained the highest results made it to the final. The team with the highest score in the final round of 7 questions won the title of the winner.

In the competition, which was attended by 16 teams, Khazar University's “Deputies” team took second place. The winners of the competition were awarded with certificates, trophies and money prizes.
