On March 7, 2019, the International Women's Day was celebrated at Khazar University. The event was attended by University Administration, employees and guests – including special guest Mr. Waqās Ahmed and his wife. Mr. Waqās Ahmed, the Polymath expert, the Artistic Director at the Khalili Collections, FIRST magazine's diplomatic correspondent came to Baku from the UK upon the invitation of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli and took part at two sessions of the “Assembly of Science and Art”.

Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees congratulating women employees, spoke about their successful activity in the life of the collective, wished them success in their future work and personal lives and also recited his poems.

Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice-Rector for Administration and Student Affairs, Bahman Amani, Head of English Language and Literature Department, and Head Instructor of this Department Firangiz Nasirova, Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media, Fariba Farhangi, Foreign PhD student, delivered congratulatory remarks addressed to women employees and wished them every success.

Melek Karimova, Coordinator of the Department of Psychology of Khazar University and Director of the Center for Psychological Service, conducted a fun test on female and male relationships.

The concert program, prepared by the Music and Art Department, was presented. The participants spent joyful time dancing and singing. The event granted everyone with a good mood.
