On February 28, 2019, Colin Russell, AGT Region Manager for Wood's STS (Specialist Technical Services) Division visited Khazar University.

Professor Gasham Zeynalov, Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering, Dr. Rasoul Moradi, Coordinator of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry Department, and Dr. Rovshan Abbasov, Head of Department of Geography and Environment.

Mr. Colin Russell gave a brief presentation about the company and its operation in Baku. Assoc. Professor Irada Khalilova informed the guest about Khazar University, its programs, laboratories, and research interests. Parties discussed potential areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.
