On 4-6 February 2019, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, had been on a 3-day business trip to Istanbul, Turkey. On the first day of the visit, Prof. Isakhanli met with Prof. Bahri Şahin, the Rector of Yıldız Technical University, Vice Rector Prof. Galip Cansever, Vice Rector Prof. Ahmet Göksel Ağaran, Secretary General Prof. Bayram Ali Ersoy and Prof. Adil M. Allahverdiyev from the Department of Bioengineering. During the meeting, the parties discussed the advancement of any kind of relationship in the field of education and research, exchange of academic and administrative staff, as well as students at various levels between the universities, an initial agreement was reached and a memorandum of agreement was signed between the universities.
