On January 10, 2019, Professor Thomas G.Schulze, a widely known psychiatrist, director of Munich Institute of Psychiatric Phenomics and Genomics (IPPG), paid a visit to Khazar University. Within his visit to the university, he met with Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees.

In the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the mutual cooperation in scientific researches between the institution represented by him and Khazar University.

Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, the vice-rector for Research, Assoc. Prof. Javid Ojaghi, genetics specialist of the Department of Biological Sciences, and Malak Karimova, the coordinator of the Department of Psychology, attended the meeting as well.
