On December 11, 2018, on organizational support of the Ministry of Education and with participation of Azerbaijan National Conservatory and Khazar University, a commemoration ceremony “I am Azerbaijan”, dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held in the Conservatory. The ceremony was attended by administration of the Ministry of Education as well as rectors of universities. Delivering a speech, Siyavush Karimi, People’s Artist and Rector of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, remarked that every year Memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev is commemorated with a concert program performed by students of universities.

The concert was accompanied by Chamber Orchestra of Khazar University (art director: Assoc.Prof. Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, Honored Teacher and a pianist). Pieces of music and romances by Vasif and Jeyhun Allahverdiyev, Honored Art Workers, were performed by Lala Mammadova, Akshin Abdullayev and others. In the concert, singer Orkhan Jalilov sang a song with lyrics by Hamlet Isakhanli, composed by Jeyhun Allahverdiyev.
