A “walking team" was created on the initiative of Dr. Hassan Niknafs, rector of Khazar University. The main aim of the team is, under the motto of “Let’s take care of our health”, to walk more and use less public transport while commuting every day. The members of the team were provided with a pedometer in order to count the number of daily steps. The results will be declared in a month and the positive impact of the initiative will be discussed.
