As noted before, on June 5, 2018, an official opening ceremony for Conference-Concert Center named after Fikrat Amirov, outstanding composer, well-known public figure, People's Artist of the USSR, and laureate of state awards, as well as an official opening ceremony for Fikrat Amirov’s bas-relief took place at Khazar University. The event was covered by the national media.
