On May 31, 2018, a seminar on “Psychology of racism and discrimination” was conducted by Melek Kerimova, coordinator of the Department of Psychology and Director of the Psychological Service Center of Khazar University. The Seminar was held at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University on organizational support by Dr. Bahadir Baysal, coordinator of the Department of Economics and Management, and “THE SAME” team.

The seminar covered the following topics: 1) Reasons for racism in human psychology; 2) Discrimination in order to achieve an aim; 3) Desire to be superior to others and be in a better position in terms of race; 4) Relationship between racism and self-realization; 5) Reasons for expressing aggression through online hate messages.

At the end of the seminar, all the participants were certified.
