On May 18, 2018, Khazar University students held a ceremony entitled “Azerbaijan-Chinese friendship” with the support of Confucius Institute of Baku State University.

The ceremony took place with organizational support by Seadet Farhadova, an instructor of the Department of English Language and Literature at Khazar University, Li Ya, representative of Chinese language and culture at Khazar University as well as Confucius Institute of Baku State University, and Mehdi Nouri, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management.

The aim of the ceremony is to contribute to the friendship between Azerbaijan and China, which have had strong relations for centuries. The ceremony covered the history, culture, education and economics of the two countries. In the cultural part of the ceremony, students performed Azeri and Chinese dances in national clothes of the two countries.

At the end of the ceremony, participants had discussions and had memory photos taken.
